Literature: The manuscript includes a collection of quintiles based on the poem Burdah by al-Busiri. It includes ten quincunxes, including one by al-Athari, and the rest of the quincunxes by other poets. Al-Athari placed a letter for each quincunx that symbolizes the name of the poet to whom the quincunx belongs.

The author was born in Mosul, and it is said in Egypt in the year 765 AH/1364 AD. He wandered in the Hijaz, Yemen, and the Levant. He was exiled to India, then returned to Yemen, settled and died there. He has many works, including. A millennium in grammar, Al-Umdah fi Al-Mukhtar from Takhamis Al-Bardah, Wasila Al-Malhouf An An-Ahl Al-Maruf, Al-Halawa Al-Sukkariyya, a collection of poetry. In this copy, the quincunx was arranged into fields, where the page was divided into two parts, the upper section containing eight fields and each field having a quincunx, and the last two quincunxes were written on the left footnote of the page, and in the middle of the page was written the verse of the poem, which was quincunxed horizontally, and the quincunxes of the second verse of the poem were divided in the lower half of the page in the same order as the upper section of it, and the verse of the poem was placed at the end of the page and in a horizontal line, and so on for the rest of the pages of the book. The names of three of the poets with the takhamis have been identified: Muhammad ibn Abd al-Samad al-Fayoumi, who is symbolized by the letter (m), Shams al-Din ibn Mansour al-Saoji, known as the jeweler, who is symbolized by the letter (h), and Shaban al-Athari, who is symbolized by the letter (sh), and the names of the rest of the poets have not been identified.
