Notes	The manuscript begins with an interpretation of the Almighty’s saying: “Before the Torah was sent down, say, ‘Then bring the Torah and recite it if you are truthful’” Al Imran/93, and it ends with an interpretation of Surat An-Nas. This is followed by: The book was completed at the hands of the poor servant Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Ziyada, and the beginning of its writing was on Monday, the sixth of Dhul-Hijjah, the close of the year forty-three, and it was completed on Tuesday, the twentieth day of the month of Safar, in the year one hundred and forty-five. In the margins there are some explanations, surrounded by red frames. The manuscript is from the books of the Samisatiya School in Damascus. In the previous index of the manuscripts of Dar al-Kutub al-Zahiriyya, the sciences of the Qur’an by Dr. Azza Hassan were mentioned.
