Notes	This rare copy includes the first volume of the book but is missing the ninth folio, according to the original numbering. In the preface to his book, the author summarized its content, saying: “I have made it a comprehensive book that includes all types of this work from the beginning of its foundations to the completion of all its chapters. I began in it by talking about the signs and their nature, and the planets and their conditions, and in what is indispensable for its introduction before rulings, then talking about issues - in three parts - then births - in two parts - then converting the ages of births - in one part - then tests - in one part - then converting the ages of the world - in one part - which is All of that is eight parts.” The first book contains five parts. The first page contains a presentation of the contents of the last part of the second part and the rest of the fourth part, which indicates that the first four pages of the copy are truncated. This is confirmed by the numbering of the book’s pages. There is a copy of this manuscript in (Dar al-Kutub al-Zahiriyah No. 4802).
