Praise be to God who, with his pride, is hidden from the eyes of the eyes... So knowledge and its people and explanation and action were gone, and that prompted me to write in this book a description of their method and an explanation of their sweetness and perfection of the statement about monotheism and the attributes and everything related to it that has fallen into doubt.
