In the margins of this copy there are many discrepancies, comments, and corrections. At the beginning of the book is a small introduction and indexes located on seventeen pages in black, red, and gold. They are councils and classes mentioned with their serial numbers in letters, and below them in the finest script are their subjects. The titles, in red, gold, and black, are distinguished by their large size.

A group of my companions loved to engage in the science of preaching and did not find a book on which it was permissible to rely on. A group of non-Arabs compiled books on that subject and filled them with false hadiths and corrupt meanings, looking for good pronunciation and not looking for authenticity. Their interest was the multiplication of the collection and their desire was to stir the mood, so perhaps they mentioned poems of passion and love.
