Its copyist is the preacher of the Sharif Mosque in the Kasbah of Ulug, one of the guesthouses of his regiment. At the beginning there is an index of the book's topics and notes. It has some comments.
Sample Text	Praise be to God, who has legislated for us a true religion and guided us to it on a straight path... After that, in the midst of my youth, I compiled a summary of jurisprudence for some beginners... and I called it Al-Mukhtar for Fatwa... When it was circulated in the hands of scholars... they asked me to explain it in a way that points out the reasons for its issues and their meanings, and shows their forms and points out their foundations... So I sought help from God Almighty, and I delegated my matter to Him, and I set about it. Seeking help from God and relying on Him, and I called it choice to explain the chosen one
