To their sayings in the narrations, we only dictate the names of the trustworthy ones among them, their genealogies, and what is known to identify their narrations in this book, according to the condition that we mentioned before in the first two layers, when their narrations are exposed to the five qualities that we mentioned before, and I am not neglecting the majesty of man, nor his ability, nor his advance of age, nor his backwardness, because the intention in mentioning them is to meet rather than to give credit and age to us. We based the book on it, so whatever was closer to the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, in meeting, and if his death was delayed, we will guarantee it. To the one who was equal to him in meeting, even if his death preceded, except that I mention about him, when mentioning each sheikh among them, I mention a sheikh below him and another above him, so that the meditator considers to memorize them and quotes from behind them. Every piece of news that is found behind it by a sheikh whom I mention in this book is true news if he shows the five characteristics that we mentioned... We detail the names of the followers of the Successors and mention what we know of the genealogies of the famous among them and the times of their death, and we separate the dictionary based on their names so that it will be easier.
