In this book, the author explains Ibn Qunfud’s treatise called: “Tashil al-Matalib fi Amending Al-Kawkab.” The commentator explained in the introduction to his book that what Ibn Qunfuz pointed out regarding the flaw he saw in the book “Al-Yasara” by Ibn Al-Banna had been preceded by Ibn Jandur, and that Abd al-Rahman al-Baqili, the commentator of “Al-Yasara,” did not mention the flaw at all. “If this flaw is correct, it may be answered - that is, by Ibn Al-Banna - that Al-Yasara is based on the approach,” meaning that the adjustment of the planets was placed in it on the approach.
