He assumed the Imamate of the Great Mosque and died in Tunisia. A fundamentalist jurist, reciter, explanatory, logical, and theologian. Among his works are: Al-Mabsoot in Maliki jurisprudence, a system in the reading of Yaqub, a summary of the religious duties, a comprehensive summary of the principles of religion, and others.
