Notes
This manuscript includes a collection of eloquent sermons, in which the author discussed death, resurrection, jihad, etc. It also included some news and events that occurred during the period in which the author lived. We did not find a translation of the author in the available sources and references, but his name was mentioned at the end of the book. The author is the son of the scholar Abd al-Rahim bin Muhammad bin Ismail bin Nabata al-Farouqi, who died in the year 374 AH/984 AD, the author of the famous collection of sermons that was printed. The last section of the book dates back to the eighth century AH/fourth century AD. At the end of this copy there are speeches by the author’s son, Taher bin Muhammad, and the author’s grandson, Yahya bin Taher bin Muhammad bin Abdul Rahim.
