The book is divided into tables, each of which is divided into six sections in length, and into sixteen sections in width, of the names of medicines, arranged according to the letters of the alphabet, and the nature of the medicine, its effect, its composition, and its alternatives if it does not exist. He provided an introduction to the book in 12 pages and put the title of the book again, and began drawing the tables. There is another title for the book, which is: “The Preserved Pearl in the Straightening of Bodies.”

After the Basmala and the preamble, I know, may God Almighty grant you success, that since medicines and foods are substances for preserving human health and for the treatment of bodily ailments, it is incumbent on the physician to know their nature and their mixtures.
