And then, the weak servant says to his strong and gentle master, Muhammad al-Amin ibn Abdul-Wahhab al-Maliki - may God Almighty have mercy on him -: Since the science of jurisprudence is one of the most valuable sciences and the most difficult to comprehend and limit, I have prepared for myself and for those who are just among the brothers a nice explanation of the message of the Imam, the scholar, the perfect example, and the one who knows God Almighty, my father Muhammad ibn Abi Zaid, seeking God’s help, supplicating to Him, and holding fast to Him in all my affairs.
