It includes a narration of the incidents and skirmishes that took place around the fort of Melilla, and the Moroccan mujahideen attacking this fort in the years 1079 and 80, and demolishing some of its towers, during the reign of Moulay al-Rashid, then returning to attacking it in the year 1091 during the reign of Moulay Ismail and clashing with the Spanish garrison repeatedly under the leadership of Commander Muhammad bin Masoud. These clashes continued until the year 1096 AH.
