By the one who enables whomsoever of His creatures He wills to know Himself by His attributes... Al-Alawi says: The explanation of the beliefs attributed to... Muhammad ibn Asaad Al-Siddiqi... included... the attainment of status, but... it concealed its benefits... and was difficult for seekers to solve... Therefore, it came to my heart to attach footnotes, which could have an entry point in what removes from the speech its difficulties.
