Notes
This is how it ended in the compiler’s card. Neither Brockelmann nor Abd al-Hamid al-Aluji mentioned this title among Ibn al-Jawzi’s works, nor did it appear in the catalogs available to me. It appears that he had another title, as many of Ibn al-Jawzi’s books had more than one title, and the text in them was generally written in black ink, and the scribe used red ink to write the titles and so on. Copied: Our copy was described in Aligarh Index 2/206, Descriptive Catalog, with the same number.
Sample Text
(We praise the Almighty, the Almighty, a praise that acknowledges the existence of perfection in His power and dominion...) Among the creation is one upon whom God has bestowed the blessing of knowledge and upon whom God has given the gift of an oath to exert himself and reach the level of his effort in order to leave from him a trace that will remain after him so that his reward will reach him and he will find his benefit on the Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit except he who comes to God with a sound heart.
