Notes He collected it from the book “The Names of the Men of Sahih al-Bukhari,” written by Ahmad bin Muhammad al-Husseini al-Kalabadhi (d. 398 AH), and from the book “The Men of Sahih al-Imam Muslim,” written by Ahmad bin Ali bin Manjoyeh al-Isfahani (d. 428 AH). He coordinated them, added some things, and reduced other things from them. Al-Zirakli (Al-A’lam 42/3) called it “the combination of the two books of Al-Kalabadhi and Al-Isbahani in Rijal Al-Sahihayn” and mentioned that it was authentic. It is the narration of Abu Abdullah Ahmad and Judge Abu Muhammad Abd al-Burum al-Ala, Atika and Fatima, on the authority of their father, Al-Hasan bin Ahmad bin Al-Hasan Al-Attar Al-Hamdani, Abi Al-Ala (d. 569 AH), on the authority of Taher bin Al-Munsif, on the authority of himself. ونسخها الناسخ لنفسه. On its margins are important explanations and comments related to the book's translators.
