A collection of praise, praise, and puns called (Diwan al-Hamwi) and also called (Delicious Fruits fi Fruits al-Hamwiyya) and it includes poems by the author and others. He said in the beginning of his book that he “woven his poems in the style of a people who sweetened their poetry with puns, and introduced the types of the exquisite in their poetry compositions, such as the vegetable with its sweetness, the pink with its freshness, Ibn al-Sayegh with its fine casting and formulation, and al-Siraj with the light of its problems. Ibn Tamim is eloquent in his language.

Praise be to God, whose total bounty cannot be counted in a book, nor does a remembrance of His goodness be met with oblivion... We praise Him with the praise of one who watered the soul of his thought with the water of literature, and it bore fruit with meanings.
