Notes	A precious copy. It is a treatise on issues related to endowment, in which the author chose what was in “Al-Shatibiyyah” and its explanations, “Al-Taysir,” “Al-Nashr,” and others. The last of which is benefits in the endowment dictated by Qutb al-Din al-Rawandi. It has been printed more than once, and Mr. Ahmed Abdel Karim Shouka is working on it as part of his master’s studies. The author is Abu Al-Baqa Ali bin Othman bin Muhammad bin Ahmed bin Al-Hasan Al-Baghdadi, known as Ibn Al-Qasih. He was born in the year 716 AH/1315 AD and resided in Cairo. He was an astronomical reciter and linguist who participated in some sciences. Among his works are: The Siraj of the Beginning Reciter and the Remembrance of the Finished Reciter in Recitations, Guidance for the Beginner in Knowing the Times by the Quarter of the Circle, The Joy of the Eye in the Fatah and the Slanting Between the Two Words, Durrat al-Afkar in Knowing the Times of Day and Night, The Idiom of Signs in the Recitations, The Sweet and Compassionate Manhole in Explaining the Work by the Answering Quarter, Aqeela Atrab of Poems in Drawing the Qur’an, The Joy of the Eye in Tajweed, and others.
