After the basmala and the praise: As for what follows: From the servants of his Lord, Muhammad al-Amin ibn Ahmad, to his friend, the object of his affection, and his confidant, Muhammad Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr al-Siddiq. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God Almighty be upon you. What is required of you is that we have reached your letter, and it contains issues that Muhammad Yahya denounced to our Sheikh al-Tijani, may God be pleased with him, and that he forbade responding to it.
