This honorable party is for the good gentlemen Bani Wafa, the first of whom is Muhammad Wafa, Ahmed Wafa, Ali Wafa, Abu al-Fath Wafa, Abu al-Siyadat Yahya Wafa, Abu al-Fadl Wafa, Abu al-Marahim Wafa, Abu al-Fadl Wafa. The text is followed, with a correction in its margin, at the end of which there are benefits. After the party, we find in folio 38a twenty-nine hadiths on the letters of the alphabet on the authority of Ibn Ziyad, may God be pleased with him, followed in 38b by a supplication to meet needs, then in 39a verses of memorization, then verses of healing, written by Abu al-Qubul al-Wafa’i in 1280 AH/1864 AD, followed from folio 40b to 42b by a poem describing the establishment of the school. Ashrafieh in Mecca, the honorable Sheikh Nour al-Din Ali bin Nasser al-Hijazi al-Shafi’i, organized the first of them: Sa`d al-Saud with the greatest splendor *** In the service of the hero, the humble, the proud, the owner, the king with whom I rose *** The deceptions of the ages with the noble palaces, our sultan, the pride of kings, and from heaven *** Al-Ashraf, the protector, the honorable Taghur... The last of them: He is still in glory and lasting victory *** and exaltation A matter for the planets. The creation of the poem belongs to the son of Nam, who *** is still busy thanking the Blesser.
