Notes The book does not have the name of its author, and in the Sulaymaniyah index it was attributed to Ahmed Ata Allah bin Tayyar bin Tayyar, known as Tayyar Zadeh, and this is incorrect because Tayyar Zadeh is an Ottoman historian with a history known as “The History of Ata,” and he has eight copies in Sulaymaniyah libraries, including a copy in the Haji Mahmoud Library with the number 4799 printed, from which in folio 187 there are mentions of incidents related to Belgrade in the year 1235 AH, and in the gift of knowledgeable people there is a translation of it with the title Ata’i, the historian, and that he died in the year 1294 AH. The text is annotated, with corrections in its margins. Some parts of the text are decorated with red dots and breaks. After writing his name, the copyist mentioned that he is: “The teacher in Mahrousa Madarni.”
Sample Text Praise be to God who has filled our hearts with the wonders of explanatory-statement, and has given our tongues the ability to explain meanings in this time... And then, the science most deserving of glorification and the most beneficial in the benefits of education is the science of explanatory-statement, which reveals the secrets of the compositions of rhetoricians and the truths of revelation, which is responsible for acquaintance with the secrets of rhetoric and the subtleties of interpretation, and the lengthy explanation of the book of summary, relied upon for reference and quotation, is one of the books of this art.
