Notes Q254B: The fourth part of a summary of the book of the Academy of Arts, arranged on the Dictionary of Names in the Dictionary of Titles. It is a book the likes of which has not been written before or after it, in which he collected the men of Islam and arranged them according to the letters of their surnames, then according to their surnames according to their names, and arranged them in five tables. The first is for their titles. Secondly, for their names and fathers. The third is for their percentage. The fourth is due to their specialty. Fifthly, he summarized and summarized something from their translation, and he did not violate this order at all, and he placed the four tables on one page and the translation on the facing page. This part begins with Izz al-Din al-Hasan bin Yusuf bin al-Hasan al-Mawsili al-Baghdadi al-Faqih. It ends with the narration of Wabel Ibn Hajar al-Hadrami, the Companion. On each page, there are ten names for which he has specified a number of cross-tables, and the names may appear among the cross-tables. That is what the author added to this version after he wrote it. As for the translation, it is included in its table in a handwriting that is enlarged, smaller, or even across the length of the paper, or transversely or in italics, according to what the author sees and his hand goes. The translation is often taken out of the table because it is large or because of additions to it. The number of translations in this part exceeds (2500) translations. If we assume that the book is in eight volumes like this, then the total number of translations will be more than (10,000) translations. The author commented it in the year 712.
