Chapter of the Forty Hadiths The First Hadith: The Messenger of God, may God Almighty’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “If on the Day of Resurrection a herald will call from under the throne: Whoever has a right to God, let him stand up. Then people will say after the people, and they will say: We have a right to God, and he will say: By what action? They say: By feeding the hungry, honoring the weak, loving scholars, and honoring strangers. Then God Almighty says: You have spoken the truth, O My servants. Enter Paradise without judgment or torment.
