Notes Explanation by Muhammad al-Hanafi al-Tabrizi (died around 900 AH) on the treatise (Etiquette of Research) by Adad al-Din Abdul Rahman bin Ahmad al-Iji (d. 756 AH). On the first page there is evidence that he had begun reading the book at the hands of his sheikh and teacher, Mr. Mahmoud Effendi Al-Alusi, at Al-Aminiya School on Jumada Al-Thani 22, 1244 AH. Al-Aminiya School: This school was attached to the mosque built by Haj Amin Chalabi Al-Pajji in the year 1237 AH in the Ras Al-Qarya area (Al-Nahr Street) in Baghdad. The first person to teach there was the Mufti of Baghdad, Sayyid Mahmoud bin Abdullah Al-Alusi Al-Baghdadi (d. 1270 AH).
