This second part of it deals with the stories of Lot, Isaac, Joseph, Jacob, Job, Dhul-Kifl, Shuaib, and Moses, the story of the magicians and Pharaoh, the flood, the story of the cutting off of the Nile, and the monologue of Moses, then the story of the city of Balqa, then the story of Joshua and Elias, and the sending of David, then the story of Solomon and the story of the dove with him, the story of Bilqis, the removal of the seal and the deposition of Solomon, then the stories of Jeremiah, Yunus and Jesus, and the table descending on him, then the story of the Exodus. Gog and Magog, and the book concludes with the story of the Prophet’s wrestling days in his youth in Mecca with his boy companion, Omar Abi Jahl, and his victory over him in a witnessed ceremony in front of the two tribes of Quraysh. The author relies on the verses mentioned in the Qur’an, then on the narrations of Ibn Abbas, Ka’b al-Ahbar, and Wahb bin Munabbih. He notes that many chapters and stories were included in the book, which were mentioned in the other author’s book, “Stories of the Prophets.” This book was mentioned in: Brockelmann:. S.I 592.
