Praise be to God who created the revolving spheres... And then, know - may God protect you and preserve you - that when I saw the beginning of the science of modification... and I came across some of the zijās that Rākū had composed, I saw that they were easy to understand and did not require a lot of mathematical work as the zājī of Ibn al-Banna - may God have mercy on him - needed... I had looked at the treatise on zāj that its compiler wrote in the Hebrew tongue and then it was converted into the language of Latin (Latin) and from the two languages it was converted to. Al-Ramnas /then transferred/ to the language of the Arabs Abdullah and the prisoner of his sin... Ahmad bin Qasim bin Hamoud bin the jurist Qasim bin Al-Sheikh Al-Hamdawi / Al-Sijri / Andalusian... This is how I found the handwriting of the jurist Sidi Abdullah / son of / Abdul Qadir Abi Sheikh Al-Lakhmi - may God have mercy on him - and I saw that this letter had left out many important chapters that were needed in many tables... until / that / I came across a letter written by the modified jurist Sidi Abdullah Asnak. Al-Marakisi... on the aforementioned tables included many important chapters on whose knowledge the work depended... so I decided to compile a treatise that included both letters, and to confirm in it a number of the important chapters and add to that what would lead to an understanding of the history of Christ... because all the works depend on it... and I also confirmed in it what I found written on the two treatises, in the handwriting of Sidi Abdullah Abi Sheikh, for additional clarification and clarification.
