Praise be to God, who perfected what He created and destined, and was just in what He apportioned, and warned of what He created and revealed. I have limited this book of mine to what it reveals and indicates, so that it may be an explanation of the truth, a corrector of secrets, a guide to the authenticity of prophecy, and a removal of suspicious semblance.
