Notes These are the names of the people of Badr, may God be pleased with them all. A supplication in which he supplicates the names of the Companions who attended the Battle of Badr. He begins the supplication by saying, “O God, I ask you through our Master,” then enumerates their names, starting with the Messenger and the ten promised Paradise, followed by the names of the Companions who witnessed that battle according to the letters of the dictionary, and at the beginning of each letter he repeats the form of supplication until when he finishes enumerating (Q. 56a) he mentions the supplication. Supplication is only a way to mention names. As for supplication, it is different.
