A book that deals with the life of the pole Sidi Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr bin Suleiman Al-Jazouli - the author traces his lineage to Al-Hasan, the grandson of Ali bin Abi Talib - and mentions his brothers, his time and position, his words and his followers. Al-Jazouli was named because he belonged to a tribe of Berbers from Sus called Jazoula, and he died in Dhul-Qa’dah in the year 869 AH, or 875 AH. The author notes his religious and worldly standing, and that he was the pole of his era in religion, piety, and method. He cites many of his sayings and deeds, and many of the sayings of the sheikhs in praise of his virtues, and that he was majestic and full of dignity, and limited his greetings to the kings of his era to the normal greeting, then mentions a large group of his companions and followers.
