The author is a resident of Medina. The book includes ten chapters, and includes talk about the virtues of the city, its superiority over other countries, and its history until the Prophet, peace be upon him, settled there, and his migration to it and his landing there, then about the Prophet’s Mosque and the noble Rawdah, and what happened to it in terms of turning the qiblah, and its noble room, and the room of his daughter Fatima al-Zahra, and the addition of Omar and then Othman to the mosque, and the houses around it, and mentioning the monuments attributed to the Prophet, and the plants that he planted. At the end of it is a poem in praise of the Prophet in two leaves.
