Notes A valuable copy, in the handwriting of the author’s student and copied from a copy met by the author. The text is annotated and contrasted. It is stated in the entry of the interview: “He received an interview and correction in meetings, the last of which was on Tuesday the 22nd of Shawwal in the year 1121. It was written and accepted on a copy that the author met himself, and on this copy are the author’s appendices in his handwriting and correction. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family and companions.”
Sample Text Praise be to God, the Most High, the closest, the closest... Now to what follows: On the seventh of Dhu al-Hijjah al-Haram in the year 1079, I came across a letter from some of the ninth-century Hanafi scholars, among the notables of the state of Mirza Agh Bayk bin Shah Rukh al-Korkani, whose content was that reciting dhikr aloud is a forbidden heresy, and he affirmed that and released it without being restricted by a doctrine.
