Praise be to God, by whose name the newspapers were illuminated, and the lines of the books were illuminated by his description and depiction... And this: The greatest thing in the hands of this nation is the book of its Lord, speaking with the lamps of its religion and its world, making clear to it the guidance of its children and its afterlife. The most honorable of sciences is that which is accomplished by means of a path, and the most honorable of drawings are the arts, which are the highest degrees in precedence and excellence, and in this book there are some of its sciences that clarify the minds, make students happy, give them happiness, benefit them from sin, relieve them of trouble, and give them what they need with the easiest care. It is, like its name, the beauty of reciters and the perfection of reciters...
