The index of the book is located on three pages, and the title of the book is written as “The Book of Anas al-Jalil, The History of Jerusalem and Hebron, Called the History of al-Hanbali,” written on a page before the beginning of the text. As for what follows, this is a brief summary that I sought the help of God to compile, and I asked Him for help in arranging its arrangement. It includes the history of the Holy House, which is founded on piety, and the story of the noble Lord, our master Abraham, and his sons... It helped me to collect it from the books of the predecessors, and to refine its words from the books of historians, and to mention what is related to the Holy House.
