Notes
Its original title is: Al-Ikmaal fi Removing Doubt About the Similar and Different Names, Nicknames, and Titles. The copyist wrote the chapters and titles in a script that is clearer than the script. This copy was written by Muhammad bin Yusuf Al-Surti from the copy that was in the library of Sheikh Abdul Rahim bin Al-Nawab Muhammad Ali Khan, which in turn was copied from the copy of the author in the year 1093 AH. Copied by: See: Brockelmann 1/355 and its appendix 1/602. Among them is a portion of a precious copy in the Central Library at Imam University in Riyadh, number: 7261, and another complete copy in the Hasaniyya Treasury in Rabat, another in the Treasury of the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque in Fez, and another in the Egyptian House of Books. See: The Descriptive Index by Qasim al-Samarrai 2/365.
