The author was born in the year 736 AH/1235 AD in Baghdad and grew up and died in Damascus. He was a scholar who memorized the noble Prophetic hadith. Among his works: Explanation of Jami’ al-Tirmidhi, Jami’ al-Ulum, The Virtues of the Levant, Explanation of Sahih al-Bukhari called Fath al-Bari (but he did not complete it), Extraction of the rulings on tax, jurisprudential rules, Islam began as something strange, a treatise on the meaning of knowledge, Dhayl al-Tabaqat al-Hanbali by Abu Ya’la, two parts, quotation in the niche of the will of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, the horrors of the graves, and others.
