Notes
The author was born in the year 1168 AH/1754 AD. He became an ascetic and broke up. He took from Sheikh Muhammad Salim al-Ardalani. He traveled to Al-Ahsa, Hijaz, and Turkey. He wrote several books, most of which are on Sufism, including: Flowers of the Believers from the Words of the Master of the Messengers (in the science of hadith), Lub al-Lubib in Revealing the Concerns of the Stranger, Sustenance for Lovers, Tuhfat al-Safa in Confronting the People of Faith, in addition to this treatise that he wrote in the year 1206 AH/1791 AD. It dealt with the topic of singing and singing on various instruments, and the rulings related to them, and at the end of it was a collection of poems and poetic compositions. The author’s death was mentioned in the Dictionary of Authors in the year 1199 AH/1785 AD, while he completed this copy in 1206 AH/1791 AD.
