Notes	This copy includes a volume of interpretation that begins with the verse [...How many times did We destroy before them...] and ends with the end of the Holy Qur’an. This interpretation is one of three interpretations by the author, the first of which is this interpretation and the second of which is the brief interpretation of the Mighty Qur’an and the mediator between the brief and the simple. These three interpretations are called the container of all meanings. Not printed. The author is an interpreter, linguist, jurist, poet, historian, and participant in other sciences. He was originally from Sawah, one of the children of merchants, and he died in Nishapur. Al-Dhahabi described him as the Imam of the scholars of interpretation. Among his works are: Al-Wasit fi Tafsir (not printed), Al-Wajeez fi Tafsir, Reasons for Revelation, Explanation of the Most Beautiful Names of God, and others. Al-Wahidi is named after Al-Wahid bin Al-Dail bin Mahra.
