Notes
It appears in the manuscript that the author is one of the Aleppans, and the author of Idhāḥ al-Maknoun (237/1) mentioned this book, but he was silent about the name of its author. This book is one of the best books written in the biography of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani (d. 561 AH). I collected them based on his narrations, and his author was mentioned in them. His son, his country, his lineage, his birth, his emigration to Baghdad, his struggles, his morals and attributes, his sheikhs and disciples, his companions and lovers, his information, his wills during his life and at his death, something of his dignity and positions, his conditions and observations, and his clear useful words. He concluded his book by mentioning his children and their children, most of whom lived in Aleppo until he wrote the book in the year 1102 AH. He collected it from many sources, some of which he mentioned in his introduction.
