Manuscript written by the author; Around the year 1082 AH, the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem suffered severe damage. It seemed that its roof had collapsed and the lead on it was damaged. Those in charge of the church wanted to restore it, and it seems that some jurists in Palestine opposed them in that.

The commentator said, after mentioning the issues of riding, mentioning the churches, prohibiting adding to them, and what Qadi Khan mentioned, and inferring the goodness of Islam, which is not second to none, I said that what Qadi Khan reported does not prove what he claimed for the permissibility of sects.
