Notes	Al-Nawawi’s book “Minhaj al-Talibin” has many explanations, and it was also explained by Siraj al-Din Omar bin Ali Ibn al-Mulqin al-Shafi’i (who died in the year 804 AH) and called it “Indications to the Names, Meanings, and Languages that Occurred in the Minhaj.” Then he shortened it and called it “Dhanna al-Ajalah,” and he also had “Tuhfat al-Muhtaj li the Words of the Minhaj” and al-Balagha on its chapters. Perhaps this copyist other than our mentioned commentator knows that. For your benefit, the date of copying is in a completely different and modern pen and script, and it may have been written much after the copyist. The text of the curriculum is in red ink and the commentary on it is in black.
