Know that the rational ruling is limited to three categories: obligation, impossibility, and permissibility. What is obligatory is what the mind cannot imagine its non-existence, the impossible is what the mind cannot imagine its existence, and what is permissible is what is valid in the mind its existence and non-existence, and every person legally accountable must know what is obligatory regarding our Lord Almighty.
