The version is a summary of the book written by Abu al-Futuh Muhammad bin Muhammad al-Sufi, who died in 1105 AH/1693 AD. See (Idah al-Maknoon, 2: 681). The name of the author of the summary was not mentioned in the copy. Perhaps he was Abu al-Futuh al-Sufi himself. It is organized into an introduction and five chapters. The introduction deals with calculating degrees and minutes, and the five chapters discuss addition, subtraction, multiplication using the sexagesimal ratio tables, division, and roots.
