It is obscured in red ink and the footnotes are obscured in black. The manuscript is written in red ink and the commentary on it is in black ink, with many explanations and comments in its margins. Its title page is a recording of the beginnings of an attempt to read it, the oldest of which is dated the year 1301 AH, at the end of which is a reading dated Sallaq Jumada al-Awwal in the year 1345 AH, followed by the book “Mujib al-Nada li Sharh Qatr al-Nada” by Al-Fakihi from folio 65 - 189.
