The manuscript is written in red ink and the commentary on it is in black ink, with many explanations and comments in its margins. Its title page is a recording of the beginnings of an attempt to read it, the oldest of which is dated the year 1301 AH, at the end of which is a reading dated Sallaq Jumada al-Awwal in the year 1345 AH, followed by the book “Mujib al-Nada li Sharh Qatr al-Nada” by Al-Fakihi from folio 65 - 189.
