Notes	The entire book was read by Muhammad al-Muzaffari. He completed his reading of Yusuf al-Amali (?) in the year 865 (?); A copy with the title and author's name on the front, and comments in its margins. The name of the copyist is mentioned in full in the other volumes.
Sample Text	The letter Ra: Rafi’ ibn Hajras, the imam, reciter, hadith scholar, and ascetic jurist, Abu Muhammad al-Sumaidi, with the omitted saad included, the meem opened, followed by the last letter of the yā’, and the omitted dāl. Jamal al-Din al-Sufi, a resident of Cairo, heard in Damascus from the companions of Ibn Tabarzad, and in Egypt from a group, and he was a good, ascetic, trustworthy and worshipper. He paid attention to narration, and he developed a keen interest in it.
