Notes Al-Sirmari: In the Al-Sirmazi manuscript, and what we have proven from revealing doubts, as it is attributed to Sarmar and its clarification is made by including its beginning, and this town was mentioned by Yaqut in the Dictionary of Countries as (Sirmari) and the name was transliterated in Al-Jawahir Al-Madhi to (Al-Ramadi) just as the name of the book was transliterated to (Al-Naba’). (Sheikh Imam Al-Khatib Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Abdul Malik bin Ali): The owner of the Luminous Jewels mentioned him and did not specify the year of his death.

Sheikh Imam Al-Khatib Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Abdul Malik bin Ali said: I heard about Judge Abu Jaafar Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Al-Qasim Al-Sirmazi (Al-Sarmari), which is one of the villages of Balkh, but after that, I was informed that a group of people were among the successors of Imam Abu Hanifa, may God be pleased with him.
