A question about two men who quarreled over ignorance, and one of them said to the other, “You are ignorant of Sharia rulings.” The answer: If this man knows what God has commanded him to do and forbade him, then he is knowledgeable of Sharia law. If he does not know this, then he is ignorant of that. And if he is not knowledgeable of what God has commanded him to do and what he has forbidden, then he is one of the most ignorant people, and God Almighty knows best. A question about two men.
