This part deals with issues related to chemical compositions and the treatment of sulfur, mercury, gold, silver and other minerals by washing, sublimation and calcination. It also discusses balances. It is written in two different pens, with poor handwriting from folios 1b to 19b, and from folios 28a to the end of the book, and in good Moroccan handwriting from folios 21a to 27b.
