Notes Al-Shamsia is a brief text on logic by Najm al-Din Omar bin Ali al-Qazwini, known as the writer, who died in the year 693 AH. It was explained by Qutb al-Din Muhammad bin Muhammad al-Tahtani, who died in the year 866 AH, and his explanation was called “Tahrir al-Rula’ al-Lūgī fi Sharh al-Shamsiya”. The grammar commentary begins with “The commentator said,” at the end of which there are five papers containing philosophical topics.
