Manuscript written by the author; The author is: a hadith scholar, a hafiz, a linguist involved in many sciences. He was born in the month of Ramadan in the year 825 AH / 1421 AD, in Jerusalem, and he died there on the 6th of Dhul-Qa’dah in the year 861 AH / 1456 AD. He was an eloquent orator and an ascetic among the Shafi’i jurists. His works include: Sharh Al-Alfiyyat Al-Iraqi in Hadith, Sharh Al-Tasrif Al-Uzza, Sharh Al-Shifa’ by Al-Qadi Ayyad. The author collected hadiths from the companions of Ibn Umaylah, Al-Salah bin Abi Omar, and from his sheikhs.

Praise be to God who raised the text of the scholars when He gave them a support from Himself, and preserved their beautiful hadith with high chain of transmission forever, and prayers and peace be upon the best of messengers, Muhammad, who is designated for intercession tomorrow. As for what follows, these are the hadiths of Ashariyat with a chain of transmission from a group of sheikhs of transmitters and respected imams. I hoped to collect them to seek the blessing of the predecessors.
