Notes	The book “Summary of Al-Muftah fi Al-Ma’ani wa Al-Bayan” by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Qazwini, known as the preacher of Damascus, who died in the year 729 AH. It is a famous text in which al-Qazwini summarized the third section of “Muftah al-Ulum” by Yusuf ibn Muhammad al-Sakaki. Then al-Taftazani explained this summary at length, then he summarized this explanation in another book, which is the one in our hands, known as al-Sharh al-Saghir, followed by 14 papers on various benefits, poems, and quotes, including: - Translation By Hussein Halabi bin Muhammad bin Shah Al-Fanari, - A sermon from the Friday sermons, - Calculating the dirham and dinar, a summary of that, - A poem called “Al-Janabah,” which is a strange language and poetry, by Faraj bin Saad Al-Tai.
